Assessment

Risk Essentials is an online assessment based as a questionnaire that can be completed on any device and consists of approximately 500 questions which are formatted to be Yes, No or Ask me later responses.  It has the functionality to pause and log back in at any time for clubs that may need different team members to answer questions.  For every question with a ‘no’ answer there is a response in the report on how to effectively address the issue.

Register

If you are a sporting club in South Australia wishing to participate in the online risk assessment program, you need to be a member of Sport SA.

You will be identified by your membership number which is individual for each club.

If you are not a member or do not have access to your membership number please contact Sport SA directly for assistance.

Assessment Options

Sport SA – Full program  = $365 + GST 
This program is designed for clubs with buildings, assets, equipment and providing food and beverage 

Sport SA  Program without facilities = $140 + GST 
This program is suitable for clubs with little equipment and no buildings e.g. clubs that use public venues (school courts or grounds on the weekend) and are not responsible for food, or beverages.

Reporting

Upon completion you will be emailed your assessment report with clearly defined areas requiring action and suggestions on how to effectively correct the issue.  The assessment is designed to be undertaken on an annual basis, this is to reflect change in the club and also show continuous improvement to the Board and regulators.

Benchmarking and data collection

the benefits to associations & clubs is paramount.  The program can provide benchmarking data that can be crucial to forward planning, providing gap analysis on areas of concern and requirement of funding or training needs within clubs.

Sport SA

is proud to partner with Risk Management Essentials with our specialised program for managing risk within sporting clubs.  This was founded to assist boards, committees and management to understand the scope of their responsibilities not just for legal duties and legislation but also to identify areas which have the potential for reputational damage which may impact funding.
